Basically Windows 7 Home Basic Version is coming without any advanced graphical effects such as Aero Glass effects, True Transparency effects, etc.. In windows 7 Home Basic Edition, Transparency effects were disabled and you can not make it enable by using the defaults settings. By refering this tutorial, you can easily enable the Glass effects in your computer.

Enable Aero Glass on Windows 7 Home Basic just by following these steps: First off, you will need some programs to get the job done

1. (optional) If you don't have the Aero enabled by default after you installed your video driver, download AeroEnabler.exe

2. You will have to get Personalization Panel

3.Go to
http://www.mediafire.com/?nvx0pxo48n72nn1 and download homebasicaero.zip and unzip it

and download UxStyle and unzip it
(Depending on your Windows, install UxStyle_Core_Jul13_x86.msi or UxStyle_Core_Jul13_x64.msi)

and download unlocker, depending on your windows download the x86 or the x64 version

6. Navigate to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab and unselect "Hide extensions for known file types" and press OK

7. Navigate to Start > Control Panel > Display and on the left side bar click on "Change color scheme" and then choose "Windows Classic" and press OK

8. Navigate to the folder C:\windows\Resources\Themes\Aero\, right click aero.msstyle, from the drop down menu click "Unlocker" and then from the drop down list select "Rename" and change it to aero.msstyle.bak

9. In the unzipped "homebasicaero" folder go to the folder "style", then copy and paste aero.msstyles to C:\windows\Resources\Themes\Aero\

10. Navigate to Start > Control Panel > Display again, on the left side bar click on "Change color scheme" and then choose "Windows 7 Standard" and press OK

11. Open a command prompt as administrator. To do this, type to the search string in the start menu cmd.exe and right click it and then "Run as Administrator", or you can just press the following key combination CTRL + SHIFT + Enter

12. In the command prompt type "sc stop uxsms", then hit Enter. Aero shuts down, don't close the command prompt, it is still necessary.

13. Double-click "aero.reg" file provided from the "homebasicaero\style" folder and when asked to continue click "Yes"

14. Go back to command prompt and re enable aero by using the following command "sc start uxsms"

15. Navigate to C:\Windows\winsxs, type in the right corner search string "*.theme" (without the quotes), and choose any theme except "hc1", "hc2", "hcblack", "hcwhite" and "classic", so you can put whatever custom colour you like from the personalization panel
